The Reitz Mirror, weekly, $1.50 a year for school delivery, $2.00 a year for home delivery. A bustling schedule to put the paper to bed every week. Photos to shoot, articles to write, paste-up; it all came together to go to the printer to return as a printed newspaper. This posting is the first of many. We just have to get on the scanner. Patience my friends. Some of the images you see here can be enlarged, but again, be prepared for a wait. We were limited by scanner size so chose to be spot selective rather than trying to capture whole issues. We believe they are available in the Willard Library archives. |
